Come for a long visit or a short getaway to rest, relax and enjoy the birds and wildlife of the mountains of North Carolina. The cabin accommodates up to seven, featuring two bedrooms, a loft, a bath, kitchen and living room. The kitchen is completely furnished. We provide bedroom linens, bathroom towels and toiletries. Color cable TV. Fishing, swimming, canoeing or tubing are just a few of the outdoor sports you can enjoy along the New River, one of the American Heritage Rivers. Hike along the shore or reserve a canoe "just down the road apiece." Those of you who like to antique or scout out auctions, this is the place. Making a day of golfing, visiting Boone (Grandfather Mountain), or driving the spectacular Blue Ridge Parkway could be on your list of things to do. The simple pleasures are here for the asking. Rates and Policies Our cabin is available year round with a 2-day minimum stay. Rates vary depending on holiday and season. Rates: $125.00 - $140.00 per night with a 2 day min. (3 day on holiday weeks / weekends) $650.00 - $700.00 weekly Pets accepted — up to 25 lbs. There is a $25.00 non-refundable pet fee. A 50% deposit is required to make a reservation. From Sparta: Take US 21 North from Sparta; it will become US 21/221. Take a right and contine on US 21/221 north and follow into the town of Independence, approximately 7.1 miles. Go left on US 58 and go approximately 12 miles. Go left on Old Mill Road (767). Go left on Decon Rd. (you will cross back into North Carolina). Go left on Legra Rd.
