Fall Wildflower Hike @ New River State Park

Join Master Gardener Laurie on a 1-mile hike to view the last of the fall wildflowers of New River State Park.  It is recommended to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

New River State Park: River Run / Hickory Trail @ New River State Park

Join a Ranger at the Highway 221 visitor center, and learn what makes the New River one of the oldest in the world.  The hike will take us on a moderate trail winding through pine forest that lead to the river’s edge, and then travels back to the visitor center with oaks and hickories overhead.
