NON-ACTING INVOLVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES:As part of our "growing pains", ACT is attempting to sort out the various "offstage" roles that are integral parts of getting an "onstage" production off the ground. Drawing upon our own theatrical experiences and also "picking the brains" of some other area community theatres, a list is developing.

If you have a desire to get involved, but aren’t sure you want to do "onstage" roles, please consider helping out in one of these roles:

Producer: helps to organize, publicize and present selected plays, etc.

Play Selection Committee: surveys, reads, reviews and selects plays for production, etc.

Set design and set construction

Sound and lighting technicians: Experience optional, we learn as we go!!!

Costuming

Make-up

Box Office: Handling reservations, selling tickets, ushering, decorating the lobby, etc.

Publicity: Creating posters, contacting news media, program layout, paint banners, taking group photos, etc.

Ad Sales

Membership Services: mailing newsletters, mailing membership renewals, soliciting newsletter info, etc.
